Hi Folks, Idly, Vada, Sambhar and Dosa filled with Masala and sagu... and a hot cup of coffee. Watelse do you need on a sunday morning.

All this you can get in many places but one of the best is Udupi Krishna Bhavan in Balepet near majestic.

This Hotel serves the best Sambhar in Town, so its better to go a little early as the Sambhar gets over by 9.30. However the timings are 7.30 - 12.00 PM and evening 5.30 - 8PM. Tuesday Holiday.

Udupi is on a walking distance from Majestic, will take maximum 5 mins.

Snacks Time in Bangalore

In the process of exploring Bangalore's Vegetarian Food joints, I happen to come accross a few spicy chat shops. One among them is Karnataka Bhel House located in South Bangalore.

This chat shop particularly famous for Bhel Puri, Masala Puri and Pani puri serves everyday between 5pm and 10 pm. They also serve Aloo Puri, Dahi Puri, Shev Puri and more.They serve lip smacking chats ranging from Rs 15/- to 20/-

Easy access via all mode of transportation as this Bhel House is located on Bull Temple Road, Chamrajpet

Landmark: Near Mithra Stores, between Uma theatre and Ballal Tourist corporation..

Veg Food in Pondicherry

There are very few options for Veggies in Pondicherry... I have found a nice veg joint along with Stay during my visit to Pondi last week. The name is "NEEM TREE" and the restaurant is called "CINNAMON STREET".

It is located on the ECR road in Kottakuppam near Pondicherry. 4 kms from Arbindo Ashram, walkable distance to Auroville Beach.  10 Kms drive to "Matramandir" (Meditation centre).

Breakfast is served between 8.30 AM - 11 AM.
Lunch - 11.30 AM - 3.30 PM
Dinner - 6 PM - 9.45 PM
Quality of the food is excellent.
